Tim is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion in helping patients achieve excellent clinical outcomes. He completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours) with the University of Winchester, England – ranked first in the UK for graduate prospects. Tim has also successfully completed a Bachelor of Sports Coaching and Development (honours) through the University of Winchester. He continued to advance professionally becoming a trained Watson Headache® practitioner.

Tim has also obtained a Level 3 Diploma Sports Massage and Level 5 QLS Lymph Drainage Massage qualification applying these skills throughout a wide variation of posts. Tim also has qualifications in Gym Instructing and Sports Coaching. He always strives to employ a caring yet methodological approach in cultivating improvement for his patient’s health. He aims to always empower patients in order for them to lead successful pain-free lives.

Tim holds two bachelor degrees at university level with 5 years dedicated to practicing Physiotherapy and a decade of experience in sports coaching, exercise prescription and coaching. He has streamlined his theoretical and practical skills to provide optimal care in line with the latest evidence-based practices.

Tim also has a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge from working at major acute hospitals and clinics. His clinical experience include working in the following areas: Musculoskeletal outpatients, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Acute Medical Unit and Emergency Department, Medicine including Intensive Care Unit and Surgery and Wessex Rehab (a specialist unit for upper and lower limb injuries, poly-trauma and chronic pain).

During his career, Tim has effectively assessed, treated and planned together with his patients to overcome health barriers stemming from a wide range of injuries, dysfunction and conditions. He takes great care in recognising the individual need ensuring a tailored approach, endeavouring to get his patients back to living a fulfilled and symptom-free life.

Tim’s philosophy is to understand the patient holistically and from a bio-psychosocial perspective. This provides the necessary foundation in uncovering the root cause of the presenting condition while simultaneously considering the patient’s unique and individual journey.

Tim ensures an empathetic yet accurate approach when treating the body and aims to restore optimal health and function. He maintains a considered and caring assessment and treatment method at all times.

 

In his youth and early adulthood, Tim represented Hampshire, England in soccer, proudly captaining the state team. He went on to play competitively throughout the UK and had the honour of participating in the World Soccer Youth Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Tim later discovered a love for Muay Thai, Thailand’s traditional martial art, and enjoys staying active with regular runs and the occasional game of chess to unwind. An outdoor enthusiast, he once climbed Mt. Fuji across Japan’s Yamanashi and Shizuoka regions.

Tim is also the proud owner of an energetic Italian Greyhound–Whippet mix who keeps him on his toes during daily walks. From 2016 to 2018, Tim called both Adelaide and the Gold Coast home during his previous time living in Australia.
