Learn More About Dominic

Dominic brings a wealth of experience to the team at Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia.

Graduating in 2013 from Auckland University of Technology, Dominic commenced Sports Physiotherapy in New Zealand. Here he was mentored by preeminent physiotherapists, working in Olympic and professional level sport. Since then, Dominic has worked in Melbourne, then Brisbane, before coming to the Gold Coast as our Principal Physiotherapist.

Dominic is recognised by his peers as a dedicated therapist and mentor, thanks to his broad pursuit of knowledge and real life experience.

Since graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2013, Dominic has pursued further knowledge and excellence throughout his career.

While working in New Zealand, Dominic was mentored by expert physiotherapists with both Olympic and professional sports backgrounds. With this work, Dominic was able to travel both domestically and internationally with sports teams as their lead physiotherapist, and he uses the skills he learnt from these experiences in his treatments today.

Since then, Dominic has worked in private clinics in Melbourne, where he further developed his clinical assessment and treatment skills. He also completed post-graduate physiotherapy courses in Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates, Shoulder Injury and Lower Back Pain in this time.

Dominic believes that the key to understanding an injury fully, is a holistic approach that involves a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s body, as well as the lifestyle factors that may be involved. This ensures that he is able to help get you back to the things that are most important to you in life.

Dominic has played sport his whole life, in particular swimming and hockey. He currently still plays hockey regularly and is continually working on his form on the golf course. When he isn’t at work, Dominic enjoys good food and drink and spending time with friends and family.
